How to know a point is in the hyper ellipsoid or outside

Hi,
I constructed a n-d hyper ellipsoid using Approximate_min_ellipsoid_d.
The hyper ellipsoid is defined by:
x^T E x + x^T e + eta <= 0

typedef CGAL::Approximate_min_ellipsoid_d<Traits>              AME;
AME ame(eps, P.begin(), P.end(), traits);

According to doc of CGAL:
E is get by ame.defining_matrix(i, j);
e is get by ame.defining_vector(i);
eta is get ame.defining_scalar();

But when input one point that is used to construct this hyper ellipsoid to
the above formula,the result is always much bigger than 0.
What's the problem?
